These clippers are pretty neat and work really well. I have a medium size hand, so not too large and not too small. These fit my hand perfectly. The resistance to squeezing is not tough at all for me (and I think I have fairly weak hands overall from injuries to tendons). I do like that the motion is different than with normal scissors, which results in less fatigue when using them for longer periods of time. The blade itself is very sharp and cuts with ease too. The overall build quality is pretty good. There is a lot of moving plastic, so I don’t anticipate these will become a family heirloom that will handed down to my children’s children, but they are sturdy and well made and will get the job done for quite some time. Overall, I’m impressed enough to buy a pair for my aging mother. I know she will appreciate them.

Preparing for the 2025 garden season, and this kind of cutting tool is something we always need — so I was glad to find them here. The shears came in a box with the blades protected by bubble wrap and with paperwork: a small one-page, 2-sided “Operator’s Manual” and a colorful 2-sided flyer that says that Workpro, Villey, Haushof, ValueMax, and Flissa are all proudly manufactured by Greatstar Industrial USA, LLC, in North Carolina. However, the Operator’s Manual says this item is distributed by Hangzhou GreatStart with the same website (greatstartools.com) but adds “Made in China.”These are noted on the listing to be 5” shears with coated blades, 360-degree rotating mechanism, and comfort grip. I find the measurements they show to be accurate. The shears are made of plastic (except for the blades and bolts etc.). It’s not a particularly high-quality plastic but they should last for at least one season . The black blade is coated (per description, with PTFE) to offer durability and rust resistance. PTFE is Polytetrafluoroethylene, a non-stick coating that’s also known by the brand name Teflon. The comfort grip is okay — the green area at top of handle feels slightly rubbery (not so at the rotating mechanism) and that is probably more comfortable than without. It’s also the part that I assume they deem non-slip.All of the plastic parts are smooth, with no rough edges.I like the rotating feature — I can see that this would be handy for certain cutting situations. The blades twist all the way around at the green part, 360 degrees, in a total of 14 little blocks of movement. You can twist while the blades are open and closed. The safety lock is a little tight but does the trick. All in all seems a reasonably good set of shears that I am sure we will make good use of this spring and summer!

For hard to reach places in your garden, this is the best tool needed. Cuts grass with no effort. Works well with the length and the ease of the grip.
